The Greek National Basketball Team has been characterized as the “Official Beloved” of the Greek sports public.

The “Structure February 1st, 2022 – In the Name of Alkis” is an organization that emerged from ordinary citizens, from Civil Society, among whom many are basketball enthusiasts.

Based on Volunteerism, we strive to create actions that, beyond ensuring Alkis is never forgotten, aim to change the fan culture (and beyond) in Greece, carving a path toward everything that unites us, so we may enjoy sports and the Coexistence of colors.

One of the strong points that unite us is the “blue and white” of our National Team.

Thus, within the framework of the Panhellenic Fans’ Day (which originated from our idea and proposal and, after our intensive efforts, was established by law by the Hellenic State) and wishing to convey the love and sentiments of—we believe—all Greek fans for good luck ahead of the start of EuroBasket 2025…

…Yesterday in Limassol, in a simple, symbolic gesture, we presented the captain of the National Team, Kostas Papanikolaou, with a jersey of the Structure. On the front, besides our logo featuring Alkis’s face, it refers to February 1st, the Panhellenic Fans’ Day, and on the back, it bears our motto: SPORTS UNITE – THEY DO NOT KILL.

We wish for our National Team to be a permanent beacon of unity, inspiration, and dedication, inspiring children and adults alike in the world of sports.

Let’s go strong! Good luck, boys!
