We honor the memory of our child, our brother, by releasing a stirring (moving) song.
Approximately 26 months ago, in February 2022, when the Structure February 1st, 2022 – In the Name of Alkis was still only in our minds and hearts, we asked a great artist and Human being, Kostas Tournas, to write a song for Alkis.
Without even knowing him personally.
We knew, however, of his talent and how sensitized (aware) he is.
Within 24 hours, he wrote and sent us his stirring (moving) lyrics: “I am Alkis”.
Throughout this entire period, we have made the penultimate verse our banner, as it expresses us perfectly:
“I am Alkis and I can live through you now, as long as you know how to speak, and I can speak to you…”.
The time has come for these lyrics to be set to music and sung.
P.S.: We want to emphasize that the lyrics were written in February 2022, a few days after Alkis’s murder.
Not a single word or… name has been added or changed in the song since then.
